When searching for wedding venues, I was a bit anxious because East Texas doesn’t necessarily have the greatest number of venues to choose from—but as soon as I stepped into The Legacy, I knew it was the one. Meeting Susan was one of the greatest experiences. She is kind, excited, and patient—willing to answer any questions and very accommodating to what a bride and groom in vision their wedding day to be. The facility itself is beautiful, making the transition from wedding to reception flawless and the grounds are amazing for timeless, classic photos Planning a wedding at The Legacy is essentially one stop. Susan has great relationships with numerous well recommended vendors and photographers, some of the best in the area. On the day of the wedding, I was able to concentrate on myself and the vows I was about to take, instead of all the last minute “oh no’s” and crisis’ that always occur during a wedding because I could rely on Susan to help smooth out all the rough edges. The wedding was beautiful and my guests could not stop complimenting us on how wonderful it was. It truly was a day I will never forget.
